The political crisis in the Czech republic around the dismissal of Finance minister Andrej Babis continues. Prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka pointed Monday Alena Schillerova, at the end of last week by the party of Babis as a candidate for his succession, pushed.
According to Sobotka is Schillerova, now minister of Finance, to close to Babis. The prime minister wants of the wealthy businessman and founder of anti-establishmentpartij ANO because of doubts about his belastingverleden. Babis denies that there’s anything wrong with that.
Babis says that Sobotka is the case, to inflate because his social democratic party in popularity is surpassed by that of the ANO. The resignation of the minister must be approved by president Milos Zeman. That is on the side of the Babis and the dismissal held.
