The leader of the American Republicans in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, can see nothing in the proposal of the Democrats to make a supplementary investigation to the possible interference of Russia in the presidential elections of 2016. McConnell said Wednesday that if such a step is taken, an ongoing investigation into the issue in the proceedings.
McConnell responded to a call from Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democrats in the Senate. Who said that a special committee research needs to go into the possible influence of Moscow in the elections.
