A team of designers and engineers Unihertz from Shanghai has launched on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the smartphone Jelly. According to the developers, it’s the world’s smallest smartphone with support for 4G LTE.
The model received a 2.45-inch display with a resolution of 432 x 240 pixels, camera 2 and 8 MP, Quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.1 GHz, battery, 950 mAh, card slot microSD up to 32 GB, support of two SIM-cards, GPS, Wi-Fi (802.11 n) and Bluetooth 4.0.
The basic version of the Jelly is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory, and the version Jelly Pro — 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal flash memory. According to the developers, despite the small battery capacity, the smartphone can work up to three days without recharging. The work is produced under the Android operating system 7.0 Nougat.
Jelly is available in white, blue and black versions. The earliest investors can get Jelly for $59, and Jelly Pro for $75. The beginning of deliveries is scheduled for August 2017, the retail price is 109 U.S. dollars. Among the supported networks 4G LTE marked, including, Beeline, MegaFon and MTS.
Note that the developers have repeatedly planned goal of 30 thousand dollars, at the time of writing the news they gathered more than 130 thousand dollars, and by the end of the campaign still has 34 days.
