The Android operating system 7.0 “Nougat” was officially launched in August of 2016. Modern smartphones gradually get the updates and new gadgets (though not all) come with pre-installed “seven”. Android 7.0 Nougat is 6.6% of the Android market and it updated to 7.1 Nougat version is only 0.5%. The total number of gadgets on Nougat today, equal to 7.1%. This is more than last month, when the 7.0 and 7.1 was only 4.5% and 0.4% respectively (and 4.9% of the total). Thus, the number of gadgets with the most advanced mobile operating system, Google has grown by 45%.
First place, however, is still in Android 5.0 Lollipop — with 32%. Second is Android 6.0 Marshmallow — 31.2 per cent. The third position is for Android 4.4 KitKat is 18.8%.
