Fahlke Larea: 1260 hp(!) the road

The 12 beautiful months for lovers of cars with impossible a lot of peekaa’s, but we’re going to the year just popping out with this piece of homework out of Germany. A straatlegaal monster that you in five terrifying seconds, to 200 km/h.

We’re talking about the Larea GT1 S12, created by the in 1997 established Fahlke KFZ-Technik und Prototypenentwicklung. We simply call Fahlke, because that bekt slightly smoother. This month they have the successor of the S10 presented, and that is something that we do not go unnoticed can let go.

The S12 is a street-racer, according to known recipe. A tubular frame with a monococque carbon fibre, complemented by a body of composite. Despite the presence of a strong and 7.2-litre V8 with automat, 1260 hp in 6500 rpm and a torque of 1600 Nm generates when the rev the 4650 rpm point, is the weight very low. He weighs empty, i.e. 900 kg.

Let that infect you: 1260 throbbing horsepower at a weight of 900 kg. A hp/kg ratio that even a Koenigsegg One:1 outclassed. On the other hand, a rather primitive design, with a spartan interior, but the cool thing is for sure. Not in the last place because of a theoretical top speed of 430 km/h should be achievable. (Evidence for this is not provided, so that we take with a shovel of salt.)

Who is this slightly ridiculous; Fahlke also has the Larea GT1 S7 (550 hp), GT1 S9 Evo (720 hp) and the GT1 S10 (1004 hp) in the offer. What the S12 should go cost is not made known. The price auf anfrage.
