What a boss!

We enjoy creative projects. It is even more fun when these projects are in their own country playing. Now that is just the case with this Volvo V70 from 1998. The V70 is certainly a vijfpitter a great gezinsbak, but for this project was a brand new Polestar engine spooned in the 18-year-old Swede. The issue here is the 3.0 Twinscroll Turbo six-in-line, originally delivered on the Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar. The result is 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque in a wonderful sleeper.

The V70 has 170,000 km walked and the Polestar-block is now the 1500 km passed. The station is on the Marketplace to purchase for 22.500 euro. In addition to the engine swap, the new Volvo also other modifications. The advertiser lists this:

Factory new 3.0 T6 engine, including all randdelen!
M59 gearbox, limited-slip, completely overhauled and made to measure.
OEM new volvo clutch bearing + Spec stage 3 6puck clutch with clutch pressure plate.
Brakes, custom made for the volvo-made 380mm Brembo kit of a porsche 911.
KMS M35 ECU, including many sensors and gauges. Three regular displays in the interior + two CAN displays.

Electric power steering pump from a mercedes, direct steering and always the right bekrachtigingsdruk.
KMS brandstofdrukregelaar, extra bosch in line fuel pump, fuel catch can, and 6x 480CC KMS injectors, and of course, all hoses STAINLESS steel braided.
Exhaust custom STAINLESS steel, 3″downpipe + 200Cell race cat. and 2.5″ cat back, 2 mufflers, wow, nice sound.
Front mount intercooler, The BOV, buizenwerk neatly in the wrinklepaint for OEM look.

Via a switch, there may be two engine range are set up. And asked to ‘get groceries’ with 250 hp and a boost pressure of 0.5 bar, or the kiek ‘m goan mode, whereby the full 350 hp and is available with a boost pressure of 0.9 bar.
