Dieselgate: court rejects hearing of witnesses Pon off

Good news for the Dutch car importer Pon and software supplier Bosch.

Do you remember, that Foundation VolkswagenAudiclaim, who wanted Volkswagen importer Pon liable for the expected depreciation of the cars that are involved in Das Dieselgate. Now, those vultures fail today hard. The court has a request for examination of witnesses today rejected.

The foundation wanted the interrogation of the now opgestapte VW ceo Martin Winterkorn, for example, use for the taking of a good settlement on compensation. But the examination is not intended, said the court. And in addition, there are already many studies around the environmental impact of Volkswagens. The court therefore considers it is not inconceivable that many of the facts that the foundation wanted to find out, that way all come to light. Unfortunately for the Dutch owners of the affected dieseltjes, who see the claim of 800 million euros now as snow for the sun to disappear.
