Video: The Stig dives of crane with an F1 car

Give our witgehelmde friend a Formula 1 car, a crane and a stadium full of cheering people, and he is able to do the craziest things.

That The Stig quite a lot about has to get behind the wheel of a roaring Lotus F1 steps, we saw a while ago. He stole recently, namely one from the factory of the team and chose it wisely for the model of last year, including V8-herriebak under the hood.

He is now with his Top Gear colleagues in South Africa for the Top Gear Festival in Durban. There, beat the boredom, apparently, soon, for a ride with the Lotus on public roads was not a possibility. He was also a bit too early in the (therefore empty) arena and, well, what do you do then?

Stunts with a dirt bike, buggy and stockcar is of course nice, but it is not enough to be The Stig for longer than a few minutes. A crane and the Lotus F1 car can do that fortunately.
