In the month of march were 7.550, new cars on behalf of leasing companies compared to 8.834 pieces in march 2015, a decrease of 14.5 percent. If we look at the whole quarter (Q1) then the leasemarkt a decrease of 8.2 percent. This is according to figures from VWE, edited by AUMACON. The fall of this year, incidentally, is entirely according to expectation. By the further deterioration of the tax advantages are many leaserijders in the past few years, with a new car.
Volkswagen reserves despite the sjoemelaffaire its leading position in the leasing companies; the brand delivers, however, on market share. Especially the French brands to see their popularity in the leasemarkt striking rap fall. Renault (-54%), Peugeot (-20%) and Citroën (-61%) pockets far away in the merkenrijtje. Mazda (+90%) and Hyundai (+266%), however, have the taste of it, whether they play in absolute numbers only a modest role.
