In The Hague will today be debated over the eternal bustle around the emissions of the automobile.
There will be talking about sjoemelsoftware, the consequences of the dieselschandaal and how to proceed. In short, I call it just ‘sjoemelgate’. Since the outbreak of the dieselschandaal in september 2015, the debate around the emissions of the car with an internal combustion engine in the focus. Whether it’s the CO2 or the hassle particulate matter and NOx: the current emission tests are a joke.
It is already known that the EU is busy with a different system to the actual emissions, a better measure. In the Second Room today will be discussed about this topic. So the D66 that not only car manufacturers, but also dealers and distributors with fair mark going to specify when it comes to emissions. The VVD is with the latter not even, says the NOS. A dealer need of the party only an environmental label to show.
The debate will this afternoon take place, and perhaps until the late avonduurtjes continue. Until now, each party has a different vision regarding rules on the emissions of the car. The left sound calls especially for more stringent testing, equal emission standards and more stringent environmental standards. A party like the liberal democrats are looking for correct solutions in new rules and laws for car manufacturers who knowingly cheating harder to catch.
