The A13 motorway in Rotterdam is today a city park

Under the motto; do something else with your highway.

It is a strange sight, children playing on the A13 near Rotterdam. A part of knoppunt Kleinpolderplein is today transformed into a city park. It is a piece of A13 between the City and Overschie. The fly-over was closed because of a in the direction of Den Haag on the way to work. And then you can becomes a whole lot other things to do with the asphalt.

So the day started with a bit of yoga and a breakfast. In addition, there is the whole day of bands and other artists, and the highlight is surely “a half-hour long motionless on the asphalt”.

The action, which Kleinpolderpleinpark is baptized, will take another until tonight. Then may we be there with our cars over the tracks.
