Where are those spotlights and why is the car not higher on its springs?

Ferrari had to go with heavy eyes to watch how Lancia with the -nota bene by a Ferrari engine powered – Stratos one after the other rallysucces obtained. In an attempt to free ride on that success, it was decided that a world development on the basis of the 308 GTB. Dealer Michelotto built for Ferrari, these rally cars, which were used by various racing with private teams and the team of Charles Pozzi, the French Ferrari importer. In their blue color with classic Pioneer-advertising, golden rims (which, in their turn, under the Statos come from) and a battery of spotlights an impressive appearance. Very successful were the rally-Ferrari’s not, especially in the beginning, they were plagued by technical problems. Persistence pays, and eventually won by Jean Claude Andruet in both 1981 as a 1982, the Tour de France Automobile with the Pozzi 308 GTB.

In collaboration with Ferrari, Tailor Made has a customer, a modern interpretation of the magnificent Group 4-world on the basis of a Ferrari 488 GTB. Although I am fan of sports cars, the asphalt, in exchange for the unpaved, is the Ferrari 488 GTB is a considerable disappointment. Much more than a similar tan, ditto stickers and gold spray from the wheels (which, incidentally, in terms of design ‘happen’ to look a lot like the Stratos wheels) distinguish this 488 of any other instance.

A missed opportunity! Put four extra spotlights on the front, put the car a little higher on its wheels and opt for something thicker straps and you’ve got an absolute killer. Now it is no more than a wannabe who is actually not in the shade would be allowed to stand from the original.
