And the great news is, it comes to almost all brands.

Following a review of the German Bundes-government Volkswagen, Opel, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche growth invested $ 630,000 car recall to the dealers for software to fix a on diesel models. This has just been announced by a spokesman of the German government. It was going to be 247.000 cars of Mercedes-Benz (the A-,B – and V-class), 32.000 Porsche Macan s, 194.000 Volkswagen (Amarok and Crafter), 66,000 Registered Audi (the Q5, A6 and A8) and 90,000 opel’s (the Zafira, Insignia and Cascada).

The study showed that only Volkswagen conscious manipulation software has been applied but also on other brands the emissions of NOx is to high. The recall is intended to ensure that a loophole in the law allowing car manufacturers, under defined test conditions, the emissions of the wrong substances can penetrate no longer able to use. The software which under the guise of ‘the technique to save’ systems, and turn off the emissions cleaning if the outside temperature is below a certain level. At Mercedes would be that temperature ten degrees celsius, at opel 17 degrees. The German government finds this to be undesirable and hopes to close this loophole to ensure that there is less air pollution.

The German recall comes a day after the government of the UK from a similar study has already concluded that no less than 37 cars that they have tested in practice, a higher NOx-emissions than the brands claim. Also from this study, it appeared that only Volkswagen willfully the shoes to a great height.
