We already had a horse in the hallway, one sheep over the dam and now a cow on the highway. Loves it never?
Sunday afternoon on the A2 between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Normally, at this time, not the set of files. But how different it was on this first day of may. Today were the cars kilometres bumper to bumper, in the scorching heat. Or actually, in a sunny day, it is true, perhaps, better. And not because of an accident with a truck, roadworks or a sinkhole in the middle of the five jobs. No, the cause was a cow. The black-and-white spotted lady was her companion in the meadow, apparently there was (or had a nice bull getinderd, also) and, once at the walk. About the A2 indeed.
Since there is such a beast, soon as much weigh as grab ’em bite a Suzuki Alto, it is better to a little bit of gas to take it back and have to wait until the emergency services arrive, instead of against them, to drive so as to clear the way. And that’s how it started, with a miles-long traffic jam as a result. The police made sure that the cars afremden and in the haste summoned the farmer came to the rescue with his truck. Then could the car’s nice to drive, and possibly the treasury some marshmallows in the speed zone.
It is according to the road not yet clear how the cow on the highway could come. Well, I have a hint. I think there is somewhere a gate is left open and the cow got it through him. So difficult is it not, right?
