Des Pudels Kern - Mephisto
Here, from my own country: a robust automotive design with Gargoyles on the back, everything. This steel behemoth is called – quite appropriately – Mephisto.

Usually it goes on autoblog on conventional cars, in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes we drift a bit. With showbizz-the trouble (because you like to click on it), a Steampunk-zeswieler, and – as is now the case – with an equally as fictitious design.

This Mephisto is part of the graduation project of Bram Knol, who is in his final year at the art academy in Breda. The concept is a coupe with a V8 engine, which is behind the driver. Bram explains the design:

The Mephisto is not built on luxury, but is focused on a pure row experience. The body are made from hand-forged steel plates that the car give the ability to change shape and to move with the movement of the wheels. Further, it is the car covered with ornaments and are located on the rear, two large exhaust pipes in the shape of gargoyles.

Within this project I have to show my love for crafts and art currents, combined with my interest in sports cars, what a unique design. Modern sports cars are now often with special and ultra-light materials machines created in futuristic factories. The Mephisto is a sports car that is hand-made by devils virtuoso craftsmen.

With the disclosure of the design wants the maker of public opinion wrists, and if there is enough interest there will be in Graf Weckerle be passed to produ…well, no, the Mephisto we can see, at most, back in Wacky Races or the long-awaited reboot of the gaming classic Death Trak. But leave that you not weershouden of commenting on the design.

A video of the Mephisto, you can find on autojunk.
