Citroën C1
Recently, the Citroen C1 (and the related Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107), renewed. Reason for the second-hand offerings of the previous generation look good under the microscope in our occasiontest.

Citroen, Toyota and Peugeot decide at the beginning of this millennium together, the latest generation city car to go designs. By sharing the development costs for all three brands is an interesting way to have an affordable, compact car to develop. The basic requirements: light, cheap to purchase and maintain, favourable consumption figures, and space for four adults. The variant of Citroen was C1 baptized, but all three cars are in the same factory in the Czech republic produced.

The Citroen C1 was given in 2009 a facelift and again in 2012 gefacelift. There was one petrol and one diesel, but the diesel is in the Netherlands superzeldzaam. The gas was a 1.0 three-cylinder with 68 horsepower, the diesel is a 1.4 four-cylinder with 55 horsepower.

Issues

  • It went to a budgetauto: the C1 had not, by default, the decision about the things that we nowadays consider, such as power steering and central locking. Be aware of this if you are going shopping.
