Lotus, give us this Super Elise

Not only John Hennessey may well be a Lotus Elise build, as it turns out, however, at the sight of this Super Elise. Holy Dikbakken, Batman!

Under the hoods (always very vocal) purists sounded the last few years for what betrft Lotus murmuring. The British group would be spartan roots rapidly to deny it. Recently reports about a Lotus SUV appeared will not much have helped.

Perhaps one of these purists was Julian Thomson, the man who as advanced design director for Jaguar, the C-X75 (and the RR Evoque) signed, but also the one who was involved in the Elise Series 1. The same Thomson threw via Twitter 2 sketches of a modern, hardcore Elise on us. The creation that he modelled is 30 mm lower and is between the 75 and 100 mm wider in the hips.

Furthermore, a sequential gearbox and a Honda V-Tec block cited as possible components, but for now it is merely a proefballonnetje. The undersigned would, however, have no problems with it if this Elise Superlegera reality would be.
