The truck is now almost 8 years on the market, but last year was the best-selling new Audi. How does the Q5 as a used car?

In 2008, introduced Audi, the Q5, at the beginning of 2012, a facelift was. That facelift is the makkelijkts recognizable by the slightly sharper, contoured nose and ass, and the other lamps. There were new engines introduced, the most in the salience that the 3.2 FSI was replaced by the 3.0 TFSI, which standard was linked to an eight speed S-Tronic automatic transmission. This year there will be a new Q5.

The Audi Q5 was as a model, the Q7 is positioned, and is built on the Audi MLP platform that also as a base is used, for example, the Porsche Macan, Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8. The Q5 was in Beijing unveiled, and was from the end of 2008 in Europe on the road to find. Audi sells, however, also a lot of Q5’s in Asia and America.

What petrol engines, the Q5 is supplied with outputs ranging from 140 to 340 horsepower in the SQ5. Diesels are there to be found from 143 to 340 horsepower in the SQ5 TDI Plus. There was also a hybrid variant.

On Marktplaats.nl are currently approximately 154 Q5’s for sale, if we leaseaanbiedingen not count. The distribution between petrol and diesel is 55% versus 45%. There are also two hybrid Q5’s on sale. The manual gearbox is not very popular, by far, the most cars (125 pieces) with a DSG equipped.

Prices start at €15.000 to 16.000 euros and walk on to a sloppy, €95.000 euros for a barely broken in SQ5’s.

Issues

• The 2.0 TFSI from the Volkswagen / Audi is notorious for its oil consumption, but there are not extremely a lot of ghost stories from to find in regards to the Q5. Hold it for a certainty, of course, well in the holes.
• The seven-speed floor S-Tronic transmission has been recalled in Australia, and in Asia and Russia was the warranty extended to 5 years / 150,000 km after problems with links that went and intermittent baking. Although this S-Tronic also in Europe, there are no official recalls have been. We do however receive the last time signals that Audi is trying, under a gesture of goodwill to solve problems with these bins.
• The 2.0 TDI engine is involved in the so-called Dieselgateschandaal. So, it may be that your car is still recalled for a fix.
• Left and right on the internet are some ghost stories about electronic gremlins. Buttons test!
• There is a recall for cars with a panoramic roof. The front glass roof panel snapped sometimes during extreme cold.
• The 3.0 TDI was built between march and december 2012 has been recalled because of a problem with the brake servo. In the Netherlands it went for 646 cars.
