Hi Mercedes, day BMW, yo Audi. Here you have some fresh competition from the US. Get acquainted with the CT6.

The CT6, which in this Edith Piaf-music submerged the movie already once passed, the new flagship of Cadillac. Positioned above the CTS, to compete with a large number of German sedans. It is not a competitor for the 7-Series, A8 and S-Class. The Cadillac, which therefore struggles to follow later. With the CT6, they want everything including address.

Americans are fond of comparisons with the competition (name and shame), and so reports Caddy proud that the CT6 to be lighter than the 5-Series, 6-Series and E-Class. The report estimated ‘curb weight of 1,700 kg for the sedan of 5184 mm x 1879 mm x 1472 mm.

This is probably for the entry-level, with the 269 horsepower 2.0 four-cylinder turbo and rear-wheel drive (there is also an option for AWD). Yup, it took a while, and Ford have paved the path, but now also the last Yanks full bin downsizing. GM provides an eight speed automatic transmission in the CT6, and in the introduction, we see still no V8 in the list.
