The Japanese want the shares of the Bahraini state in McLaren to take over, but why?

As an investor of the Bahraini state, you probably know of silliness is not what your money should do. Except if one of the other oliestaten in the region, which is a more expensive toy to purchase, as the sheikhs of Ahu Dhabi did with their shares in Ferrari. Mumtalakat, the investment company of the Bahreiners, was there also when the chickens are in for a couple of years ago, half of McLaren to take over.

They seem, however, now tired of the car manufacturer and Formula 1 team from Great Britain, because all the shares are available again. McLaren CEO Ron Dennis was even with the British prime minister David Cameron spotted in China, looking for a new investor. He could be a lot closer to home, because Honda is interested, writes the German Speedweek.

Japan is also not exactly next door to Dennis and his associates, but Honda and McLaren have already made a deal in 2015 to work together in the F1. Honda delivers as in the following years 1988-1992 the engines, but will not allow the team remains mired in recession as the since 2013. The last win dates again to 2012. Honda wants to do anything for them by themselves with half of all shares participation within the McLaren Group. And who knows, to interfere them also with the development of a new supercar.

Another clue to the impending deal between Honda and McLaren is the absence of a new main sponsor at the last. Vodafone waved at the end of 2013 but has, as yet, no successor. Not really surprising, as Honda in the background, already a beautiful spot on the car has been enforced for 2015.
