No joke? *checks all 16 times* No joke!!! This is the new Honda Civic. Or at least, a harbinger on the new Honda Civic.

On the autofeestje that today in New york starts, Honda just released the Civic Concept is unveiled. The green proefballonnetje is equipped with a slender coupélijn, because they are fond of in the US. Take care, however, that we on this side of the ocean the hatchback version. Hopefully with just such aggressive bumperwerk as on this concept, but that will undoubtedly be reserved for the Type R variant. A sedan and station will in the long term.

The tenth generation of the Civic comes at a new platform and makes – how can it be otherwise, – use of V-Tec engines. The forthcoming Type R will get a V Tec engine with supercharging through a turbo. Because escape also the Japanese no longer.

Honda says the new Civic in 2016 in production. Also they sprinkle with some obligatory claims, such as “more focus on sporty, fun-to-drive dynamics”. Either, this will be an interesting competitor for the C-segmenters as the Focus and Leon.
