At the last event in San Francisco Apple introduced a new framework called CareKit. This software environment with which developers can easily create applications to monitor the health of users.
Applications created using CareKit, should provide users with active monitoring of their health status and to monitor the implementation of medical guidelines, symptoms and medication.
Applications CareKit allow you to send information to doctors, nurses and family members. CareKit will be available in April 2016 as the platform is open source.
It consists of four modules. Module Care Card helps to monitor the implementation of treatment plan and medical recommendations. Recording symptoms and indicators is done in Symptom and Measurement Tracker. The Insight Dashboard module shows the impact of the implementation on the presence of symptoms. Connect the module helps to provide information about health and changes in condition.
