Uniek! De Marcos LM600 roadcar
The Sunday provides time for rarities and there are fortunately still enough to find.

Unfortunately, however, for such cars that info here and there from forums and obscure, minimum megapixel corners of the internet have to be playing around a while, but what we do is not difficult. This Marcos LM600 is the only straatlegale instance that was built to meet the homologation requirements of the ACO to comply. For whom a bell was ringing: this is indeed the car that Dutchman Cor Euser created a furore in the international racing scene.

As was said, there is one street legal copy of the LM600 built and which was blue. Where the LM400, and LM50 still with V8 engines from Rover did, got this brutal a 6-liter V8 from Chevrolet under the hood. You keep you amazed, but on the other side of the pond that is called a small block. After the LM600 for a while, was exhibited at the headquarters of Marcos, went to the car several times over of the owner. So was the racekar white, and still later orange including black rims and carbon flaps.

The comical appearance is somewhat reminiscent of such a huge bodybuilder in a silly thong, but still we find it a great car. The block should be good for 470 hp and a top speed of 298 km/h. Is probably a little bit against it, but comforted with the thought that downforce in the racing world is at least as important. The sprint from 0-100 km/h would be in 3.9 seconds behind, thanks to the weight of 1.117 kg.

In short: with this cart, we would love to have a round of Zandvoort. But because of that bizarre lines and thick block.
