Black or white car make anything out in the sun

The VAB (Belgian DUTCH equivalent) did a test on a sunny day and saw that the temperature in the car can rise to 50 degrees.

Now the temperatures this weekend could reach up to 30 degrees, it is wise that you take into account when parking your car in the full sun. The VAB examined how hot it is, exactly, in a car on a sunny day with 25 degrees.

The temperature was at three testauto’s measured: two black and one white. In one of the black cars was a sunshade behind the windshield placed. After an hour of baking, the temperature rose in the black cars already at 31 degrees. The white was 29 degrees, only 2 degrees cooler. By 6 hours of full sun the temperature rose in the black cars to 50 degrees, in the white Skoda was 46 degrees.

A white or black color doesn’t mean all that much, and a sunshade does absolutely nothing, except the dashboard and steering wheel cooler. Do further small adjustments as a window ajar also wonders.
