We should be proud of Victor Muller?

Victor Muller
One of the few vehicle manufacturers of the Netherlands and her foreman to keep the tempers quite busy. The opinions about the Muller range and are often diametrically opposed to each other. But why? Is Muller a hero which we must be proud, or has Spyker desperately need what Dutch mentality is needed?

In 2001, there was a small Dizono with open mouth, watching the two Spykers. A C8 Spyder with green interior and is presented C8 Laviolette with stunningly beautiful red leather interior. It was somewhere on a small floor of the AutoRAI that I for the first time, prided itself on cars that are out of our own little country came.

Fast forward to march 2016. In Geneva, I witnessed the introduction of the Spyker C8 Preliator. According to the jubilant press release the third-generation sportscar‘, according to our earlier, a slightly revised C8 Aileron 2009. On the piece that we write about it get a variety of responses. Some say when the soap around Spyker finally comes to an end, others call our acid and find that we must respect for what Victor Muller has done.

I need to Muller that, his motto is nulla tenaci invia est via (“for those who persevere is no road impassable’), he remains faithful. He fights for his brand and believes in any case themselves holy in the potency of Spyker. And yet, it was proud not of what I felt when the C8 Preliator under the cloth came from. Something that has nothing to do with the beautiful chariot, nor with the people who, no doubt, with blood, sweat and tears on this prototype have worked. It is located on Victor Muller.

In a video I see Victor Muller about how he ‘only’ fifty copies of the C8 Preliator wants to build. “That also gives you the opportunity to get a premium price to get. As you say, I make that there are infinitely many, then it is that much more difficult,” said one to his ears confident Muller. Yes, he said really, and he meant it. It is just one of the examples of Mullers pride. And that comes before the fall, that much is already clear.

Of course you will need as CEO of a company are positive, but any realism, and common sense would Muller adorn. Especially if you look at the short but eventful history of the company, with a whole list of models that still not arrived and few successful excursions to the Formula 1, and Sweden. Joop, Denis or Amber Donkervoort, I have never been able to catch this kind of statements and they have also never been disappointed with disappointing figures or models that are not yet in production. I give Spyker the same down-to-earth, in which they make us excited to be able to tell about the copies that are sold, instead of the other way around. Or about the work that they have done to the C8 Aileron in 2009, there is an up-to-date sports car to make, because that is what older base is no shame in this. As your story but a little honest and sincere. Then I can again be proud of Spyker.

So far my feeling with Spyker and Muller, but what about you? Obviously, the opinions are quite far from each other, and I’m especially curious as to why you have the same or a different opinion are assigned.
