A glorious day for our country! Tesla rolls out today, namely update 7.1.1 in the Netherlands and thus software for remote control is automatically in and out of the park. But is it really so impressive?
Tesla would give you a bit of the Apple of the car market. Yes, they make beautiful and sometimes innovative products, but the positive attention to these brands depends, is not always in proportion with the actual innovation that the companies. An example of this, we come today, in the form of Tesla’s automatic inparkeerfunctie for the Model S and Model X.
The owner can now have the car automatically into the parking via an app (sitting in the car could it already), if he/she is located within a radius of about 10 meters from parking space. The car is driving itself forward or backward until it encounters a hindrance. When this obstacle is detected, stops the car and drive and turn the systems off. But, the cars can not turn around, to park this way! The same applies if you get the car to re-awaken from its sleep, also the car will only drive in a straight line.
In a time where all the brands and their grandmother’s automatic parallel parking on the list of options and a convenient Dutch the even itself can build on his Corvette, is this not exactly cutting edge rocket science of Tesla. But they succeed again in to the spotlight to grab.
What do you think of Tesla, hypemachine, or real substance?
