As a car enthusiast you should ever in your life an Alfa Romeo owned. To the purchase price of the Alfa Romeo 147 that does not have to lie, but then you have a good copy to buy.

The Alfa 147 was enthusiastic reactions count when at the end of 2000 was presented. Technically, it is the 147 closely related to the Alfa 156 and the Alfa Romeo GT, which later appeared. Issues

• Oil gauge! The gasoline engines live in a sip, and keep it there with too little oil around to drive.
• Hot ride!
• Timing belt Twinspark engines: every 3 years or 60,000 km replacement, JTD’s to 100,000 km.
• Nokkenasversteller (petrol engines) may rattling/dieselend sound at the start. Relatively expensive to replace, because the timing belt must be loose.
• Spark plugs need to be 100,000 km to be replaced for 120 hp 1.6 and the 2.0 Twinspark. There are eight (!) and they are not very cheap.
• The airbag light will need during the start enter into and then back out. If this is not done, there is potential to join tampered. The plug under the front seats is the weak point, but it can also (and more expensive) problem with the airbagcomputer indicate.
• Suspension front suspension can creak or rattle. Also sometimes wear fuseekogels, what an APK afkeurpunt.
• At the back wants to be the anti-roll bar still rattling – especially annoying. The rubbers and silentblocks at the rear can also rammels sure.
• Also check the operation of the thermostat. After a cold start after approximately 5 minutes at 90 degrees can be achieved.
