The Lancia Aurelia was Lancia’s first post-war car and gave the brand a flying start. It was a pioneering model, with a V6-productiemotor under the hood. The Aurelia B24S Spider America was the two-seater cabriolet by Pinin Farina, that Lancia also in the United States had to launch as the brand. The auctioned model is not unknown among connoisseurs, because this Spider America was a long time property of Maurizio Pini, a well-known Italian researcher. The Aurelia wanted to continue, which is evident from the revenue of the auction: 700.000 euro.
