Toyota has a price tag to the mother of all hybrids.

It’s been some time ago that Toyota’s fourth-generation Prius presented, but now we know finally what this green rascal should cost: 29.995. For that money you get according to Toyota the cleanest hybrid without a plug. With an emission level of 70 grams of CO2 per kilometre, the new Prius also 21 percent more fuel efficient (all specs here) and thus be cleaner than its predecessor. 21 percent is also the percentage that you have to add about this Prius.

From 13 February the Prius at the Dutch dealers, among others, as a rich-equipped First Edition. Except more fuel efficient, the Prius also wider become, both for the make as in terms of luggage compartment (502 liters). By default, the car is equipped with a large number of safety features under the banner of Toyota Safety Sense. Think of Lane Departure Alert, automatic high beam, it can read traffic signs, radar-controlled adaptive cruise control and voetgangerdetectie.
