There he is, the stationwagenversie based on the Mégane hatchback.

We drove last week, the Renault Megane GT, now we see the first image of the new Megane Estate (including the Megane Estate GT). According to Renault, this new Estate a “confident look thanks to the typical lichtsignatuur with C-shaped headlights.” Always fun, that kind of marketingpraat. But to be honest, the Megane looks good. The model is also covered by the chrome finish around the side windows and the C-style. The roof rails are of anodized aluminum (matte-finish for the GT-version).

Mégane Estate GT
In the front bumper of the Mégane Estate GT a wide air intake finished with a honingraatgrille. At the rear is the GT-execution identified by the chrome plated exhaust pipe and the diffuser. Also are the optional alloy 18″ wheels, specially created by Renault Sport for this model has been developed.

4Control technique
As the first C-segment station wagon in the world is the new Renault Mégane Estate is equipped with 4Control technology. This chassis with four-wheel steering is especially adapted for the Mégane Estate, and makes for a sporty and precise feel in corners.
