So many users have downloaded Trojan-pornokeller from Google Play.
Antivirus company ESET has announced that its experts have uncovered a “major cyber attack” in the history of Google Play. As it turned out, for seven months in the online application store Google Play has been downloaded 343 modification of Trojan-pornokeller Android/Clicker. As a result of this activity cyber frauds, Trojan downloaded over 1 200 000 users.
Android/Clicker pretending to be useful applications and games, including GTA San Andreas Free, Subway Surfers 2015, Dubsmash 2, My Talking Tom v2 and so on. Once on the Android device, the Trojan starts to put the traffic on the “adult” resources. As a result, the operators of the Trojan are receiving income, and victims can get a significant bill.
According to experts, dozens of versions of the Trojan managed to bypass the system security Google Bouncer every week. On average, each such version was downloaded 3600 times and the lucky ones up to half a million.
