Group of companies Mail.Ru Group has sold the project HeadHunter to a consortium of investors led by “Elbrus Capital” for 10 billion rubles. For this price, the consortium will move 100% of shares in HeadHunter.
HeadHunter belonged Mail.Ru Group for seven years. Interestingly, at the end of 2014 Mail.Ru Group has already announced the sale of HeadHunter to the same consortium for 9,85 billion rubles. Then the completion of the transaction expected in the first quarter of 2015, however, was never completed. This time the transaction was completed on 25 February 2016.
HeadHunter is a project of the Internet recruitment and work in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Azerbaijan.
10 billion the consortium paid in two instalments. The first 5.5 billion roubles have already been received, and the remaining 4.5 billion roubles must be transferred until 30 April 2016.
