Spyker-restauratie: 12 jaar werk in 1 beeld
In twelve years time, a more than 100-year-old hope rust a puntgave classic, this Kiwi is doing at the time.

About the restorer himself, we know not so much, except that he is apparently an inexhaustible source of knowledge, patience, and perseverance. In 2001, tapped the man in a rusty bathtub, a Spyker chassis of a model from 1907 turned out to be, on the head, and began here a complete classic around to restore it.

How this chassis in New Zealand has been trapped is not known, even to the Spykerforum they know little of, but the thing seems to be somewhere in a river bed, a landfill, where it lay to rust.

The restaurateur keeps on Facebook in the last few years a blog of the progress, culminating in the cranking of the old power source (that in the meantime, as the drive in a boat was hung), mid-2012, and as low in the earthquake that New Zealand in 2011, hit. (via Bold Ride)

Currently, the car is as good as finished. It takes blood, sweat, and tears, but if you go in 12 years of this..
