A faster variant of the 458 Italia does Ferrari the jaws firmly together. However, everyone can guess that he is coming, and soon. This packed beast in the streets of Maranello gives a first look on this ‘Scuderia’.
Scuderia, the naming convention for the hardcore variant of the 458 Italia predecessor, will likely not be re-used for this model. Maranello-insider PetrolSjoerd knew recently reported that Ferrari the title ‘Monte Carlo‘ has been chosen, thereto adding that the power of the 4.5-liter V8 from 570 hp to 620 will be lifted. An extremely fine vehicle of 50 tubers. Mjam.
Expect also a nice Scuderia-prescription: more use of carbon fibre so the weight will decline, and a circuitgeïnspireerde adjustment for the suspension. On the taped test of exterior changes is still little to see, but a watchful eye can see a modified front and rear bumpers, raised exhausts, and rims, especially in width seem to have grown. And note also how the plastic garbage bags from Ferrari cantine is the striping across the middle of the car cover. Subtle.
There are rumors that the hot 458 since the 458 will be unveiled at the IAA in Frankfurt in september. This seems to be a preview event to be organised. That would mean that there is between the regular 458 and the 458 Monte Carlo three years, the same timeframe as between the F430 and the 430 Scuderia. Sounds plausible. PHOTOS! (via Autogespot)
