At least, that is Sony going to try.
The Fast & Furious series has six parts and part seven is in the works. The franchise puts film company Universal good, the series is in the top 15 film series, with the highest yield ever, and part 6 was very well received. Meanwhile, we are also in anticipation of a Need for Speed movie by Dreamworks is produced and works Legendary to a real Hot Wheels movie, and so thought the people behind Gran Turismo: “we should also look at diving”, so we read just.
It just so happens that the driving force behind the Gran Turismo games the name Sony is wearing and let that group just on a own film, that is a coincidence! There is still not much known other than that Mike de Luca and Dana Brunetti, who is mainly known as producers of the Fifty Shades of Grey movies. De Luca also worked on the movie Drive Angry with Nicholas Cage, but his great achievement is always something less car-related American History X. Brunetti worked previously at The Social Network but has still not really something with cars done in movies.
The only thing the Gran Turismo boys compared to the other upcoming titles is missing is a storyline, so let’s make them a little help. Batman in the Nissan Deltawing on a couple of vampires hunting in the night, innocent people doodrijden during street races to their bloedzuigbehoefte meet. Eventually, Batman is helped by Morgan the Vampire Slayer who, with his wooden Morgan right through the heart of the blood sucking Tesla’s (badguys have an electric car, right?) drift, the only way to kill them because there is no Silver Bullettrain in the neighborhood after the local Fyra from service is taken.
But maybe you have better suggestions? Scriptsuggesties in the comments please!
Update 20-08: At Gamescom it was just announced that the film project has been initiated.
