Caterham AeroSeven
, Giedo, may we have a spin on this device?

Recently teasde Caterham on the side of its F1 cars, the silhouette of a new sports car. Well, that is so this AeroSeven Concept has become. A roof and voorruitloze two-seater, which is very minimalist approach. “A poor mans Aston Martin CC100“ someone called here just about the editors.

The car is developed by Caterham Technology & Innovation, Caterham Composites and the Formula 1 team. The unveiling is this weekend, and will be performed by team boss Tony Fernandes at the Grand Prix of Singapore. The sportbolide, in 2014 the market seems to get, has nothing to do with the future of car Caterham along with Renault/Alpine to work.

More details, except that in this set of photos that accidentally by oudmediale British online was put, we have not yet. Or this langneus based on the classic Seven remains so still just guessing.

UPDATE 20-9 – Caterham has more information released about the AeroSeven. As expected this car is based on the Seven CSR platform, but it is equipped with a carbon fibre bodywork. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ford Duratec engine with 240 hp/206 Nm that you in less than 4 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h should be able to sprint. Furthermore, this car is equipped with traction control, launch control and a manual zesbak. It is intended that in a little over a year the first production models from the factory in Dartford to come rolling in.
