Trackguide: dit moet je weten over Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
Arriba! We go for the first time in a long period of time back racing in Mexico. Time for a refresher.

Da’s in this particular case quite difficult, because the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (hereinafter referred to as the circuit) is substantially rebuilt for the return of the F1 circus. The name refers indeed to Pedro and Ricardo Rodríguez, who long ago on the international circuits, created a furor.

For the last time on this track with Formula 1 cars raced in 1992. The last turn of the then circulation was a sort of Parabolica XXL and as you can see in the picture above. The bad news? That board you already have. Hermann Tilke, the circulation changes drastically, and so you don’t have to rely on the Peraltada, in the middle of a baseball stadium. Instead, drivers now a series of slower corners (right by the old stadium) for their choosing, before they start/finish line to reach.

The circuit is 4.313 on the short side. Fine for the spectators, the drivers relatively often passing by. It is the top speed on the straight at the end is expected to be above 330 km/h. The job is located in Mexico city at a height of over 2 kilometres above the sea level. Atmospheric engines to find thin air in general, not as cool, but turbocharged engines have there is less burden of. There is still a positive point to those blown engines.

When on tv?

The qualification is tomorrow at 20:00 Dutch time moved. The race starts a day later at the same time. Just as the GP of America is the race live and in its entirety broadcast on Veronica.

Movie!

To get an idea of the track we have below a video in which Gerhard Berger in 1991 a lap on the old track takes. Nice sound? Could be wrong. McLaren drove a V12 Honda.
