Thousands of iPhone users 6 and 6 Plus complain about the “error 53” (error 53) that began to offer smartphone and, in fact, turned into a brick. This was reported by the Guardian.
The problem was caused by Apple itself, which will disable smartphones, renovated in unofficial service centers. It is not about any repair, and the cases fix the home button with integrated fingerprint scanner Touch ID, as well as cases, when the smartphone was damaged (the damage of the button or its connection cable), but the user did nothing with it. Moreover, this error is issued only if the device is installed fresh OS version, iOS 9.
An Apple representative explained this decision by concern about security. When Touch ID is being repaired by an authorized service center or Apple store, then re-validation sensor connection to the system that ensures the safety of the use of fingerprints to protect sensitive data. In the absence of validation of the OS disables the device for security.
