Video: Dario Franchitti crashes in Indycar, 14 injured

A violent crash Scotsman Dario Franchitti at the Indycar race meant that he himself with serious injuries from his car met it had to be. Also got 13 spectators injured by flying debris.
The triple Indy 500 winner tried former Formula 1 driver Takuma Sato on the last lap to catch up when the horribly went wrong. Franchitti is launched from the rear of Sato and flying the fences in. Sato and E. J. Viso -that the crash could no longer dodge – were there remain intact, and could on its own strength to their cars to leave but Franchitti was left after the hit that is reminiscent of a less violent version of the fatal crash of Dan Wheldon. He turned out to be two broken shortened vertebrae, a broken ankle and a heavy concussion to have suffered but that he after a night stay in the hospital probably able to go home again.
Unfortunately, the crash also affected the spectators. Thirteen of them were injured and three people had such injuries that she went to the hospital needed for treatment.
