Glad tidings to you from supercarland. The Italian Pagani has according to the grapevine her own Nürburgringrecord to smithereens driven. Five years ago put race driver Marc Basseng a time of 6:47.50 minutes with the Pagani Zonda R. With his souped-up derivative in the form of the Zonda Revolucion is now an almost impossible 18 seconds from gone.
This puts Pagani for the second time at the top of the list of records with non-series/non-road-legal vehicles, since, in an edition of five pieces built Zonda Revolucion is not, without modifications on the licence plates. It would also mean that the speed limits on the Nürburgring are lifted. The news about the 6:30 time is not (yet) by Pagani brought out, but the world was ingeholpen by insider Love Cars, and later confirmed by Shmee150.
Coughing Italian in raincoat gave us just this picture:
The Zonda Revolucion has the well-known 6.0-litre V12 from AMG behind the carbon-titanium monocoque, with a power of 800 hp, 50 horses more than the Zonda R. the Switch comes with a six-speed sequential container, that the ability to the immense rear wheels. The €2.2 million dollar supercar is equipped with a DRS-system, in which the driver of the rear wing automatically or manually open and close can make it clap, for, if desired, less or more downforce.
