Today was the last F1 race before the short summer break was held at the Hungaroring. It was a race full of fireworks, with an extraordinarily exciting slot.
Just before the start attracted a significant rain over the circuit, making it a wet start it was. The whole field left on intermediates, so, too, Lewis Hamilton, who after another disastrous qualifying from the pit lane left. The Brit, however, was too eager to come forward and made a spin, fortunately without consequences.
Meanwhile, his team-mate and polesitter Rosberg once again have direct los of the rest of the field. Another gaaptastische overmachtoefening Mercedes was waiting. Behind Rosberg started Fernando Alonso once again excellent, and fought forward.
In the 9th round crashed Eriksson (Caterham) hard, with a safety car as a result. When in the 11th round to within wanted to go and did Romain Grosjean (Lotus) a Newey paper during the heating-up of the links. For this, his compatriots a nice word invented: embarrassing.
Not even 10 laps later verremde his teammate Maldonado, and blasted into the side of Bianchi (Wagered). By a miracle could the Venezuelan brokkenpiloot, however, continue, but as the whole season are the Lotuses (with the Saubers once again the weakling. In the 23rd round of claps Sergio Perez (Force India) at the start of the back straight and hard in the pitmuur, which is a second Safety Car. The track has now dried up.
In the 33rd round Vettel the trick of Perez after, but keeps his car miraculously very. This was really nothing, but the German comes good way.
Meanwhile, Alonso still good, after a round of 39 for a pitstop to have made a decision Ferrari the race on the tyres to drive. The Italian team has all 24 races not won, the worst series in decades. With still a few laps to go for a drive, Alonso, Hamilton and Ricciardo tenths of each other. Ricciardo has the best tires, and enjoy first Hamilton, then Alonso, and takes his second F1 win ever. Unfortunately, peanut butter for the Spaniard, but he gets a nice 2nd place.
Directly behind him finish the race, Hamilton and Rosberg as the third and fourth, which means that finally for once not a Mercedes-hegemony in Hungary. The full results:
