Mercedes GLE is official, including plug-in hybrid & GLE63

Yesterday leaked, officially today. Meet the new Mercedes GLE, the first plug-in hybrid SUV from Mercedes. And there’s also an AMG-flavoured!
For the first time, saves Mercedes the plug-in hybrid route with an SUV, in the form of the GLE 500e 4MATIC. This is on paper even more economical than the SINGLE 250d four-cylinder diesel. The bluedirect engines V6 in the GLE 500e 4MATIC is good for 333 horsepower, the electric motor delivers 116 hp. The combined system power comes from to 442 hp and 650 Nm of torque, while the emission to 78 grams of CO2 per kilometre is stuck. The average fuel consumption is 3.3 l/100 km. It is possible to fully electric driving up to 130 kilometres per hour, a seven-speed 7G-Tronic Plus transmission enables the transmission.
Other flavours available are the SINGLE 500 4MATIC (435 hp, 700 Nm, twin-turbo V8) and the GLE 400 4MATIC (333 hp and 480 Nm, twin-turbo V6) if you petrol want to drive. There is also a choice of diesels, in the form of the GLE 250d (204 hp, I4 diesel) and GLE 350d (258 hp, 620 Nm, the V6 diesel). The diesels are all equipped with the new 9G-TRONIC gearbox with nine gears.
The candies in this “SUV Formerly Known As ML”-series, the Mercedes AMG GLE 63 and GLE 63s. These are equipped with the familiar 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 with 557 hp and 700 Nm. The GLE 63s gets 585 hp and 760 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 is respectively 4.3 and 4.2 seconds, the top speed is regulated at 250 but may be optional to 280 kilometers per hour.
