A Turkish art collector has $250,000 will be paid for this crashed Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, while he for as low as $40.000 a copy in excellent condition could buy.

What you see here is not a crashed Ferrari, but a ‘work of art’ from the Frenchman Bertrand Lavier. This piece of art was in 1993, created by a Dino 308 GT4 to demolish, and there is then nothing more to do.

If you or I behind the wheel had been then the car is probably in the shredder ended, but because there is now a world-renowned sculptor and installation artist is involved, we call it: art!

A second-hand copy in good condition you could buy for a few tens of thousands of euros, but this wreck is apparently worth its weight in gold. I’m curious what the Turkish buyer does with it. (via: bloomberg.com)
