Big question is: which of these racers from Zuffenhausen should it be?
We will get a bit easier, because the 997 GT2 in the middle is already sold. Continue on the GT3 RS 4.0 and the crazy GT2 RS, which on the ‘Ring even the Carrera GT the snot for the eyes drive.
That lovely GT3 RS 4.0 is one of the few or perhaps the only copy that is not white or black, but grey has been painted. In addition, this GT3 is unique because of the missing roll cage and the lack of striping. A very special copy thus.
The choice is a difficult, to give you a little help, we put the most important stats of this power trio at a glance.
TypeVermogenKoppel0-100 km/uTopsnelheidNieuwprijs
997 GT2 RS620 pk700 Nm3,5 s330 km/h€ 309.700
997 GT3 RS 4.0500 pk460 Nm3,9 s310 km/h€ 256.100
997 GT2540 pk680 Nm3,7 s329 km/h€ 270.280
As you can see, puts the GT3 RS 4.0, particularly in terms of torque and top speed with its bigger brothers, but in the right hands and on the right job comes for sure be fine. Expected from the sale of standing duo, incidentally, not that you get them for an apple and an egg added. Of the original Dutch GT2 RS, we know in each case-ie (don’t) 550,000 euros will cost. That’s the trouble!
Given their limited production numbers and future klassiekerstatus so you should probably get in the pockets. Oh yes, that GT2 RS has, incidentally, only 70 km on the counter. All the more reason to make a trip to Leusden.
With thanks to @audiworker for the tip!
