Sony has announced the release of its first internal SSD. SSD series SLW-M in SLW-MG2 240 GB and SLW-MG4 480 GB.
They are made in 2.5-inch form factor, support SATA III ( 6 GB/s) speeds read and write is 560 and 530 MB/s, respectively. Drives got features like Garbage Collection that prepares in advance the free space, Wear Levelling, allowing you to extend the life and function of error correction (ECC). Also, users are invited to download a set of smart SOFTWARE, including the solution for cloning data and Sony SSD Toolbox.
Sony SLW and SLW MG2-MG4 go on sale in Russia from February 1 for a suggested retail price of 10 and 990 18 990 rubles.
