Chef best restaurant in the world died

LAUSANNE –

Benoit Assen, chef of the best restaurant in the world, has died. Assen (44), L’Hotel de Ville near the Swiss city of Lausanne ran, has supposedly committed suicide. He was at home found dead, reports the BBC.

The restaurant had three Michelin stars and was by the French La Liste in december last year, voted best eatery in the world. The Swiss naturalized Frenchman, was employed there from 1996 and took over the pub together with his wife in 2012. He was known for his dishes with wild. He shot the animals themselves.

Half a year ago died Violiers mentor and predecessor of L’Hotel de Ville, Philippe Rochat. The chef died during a bike ride.
