Volvo V40
A beautiful and at the same time, difficult time: finding a new company car. Fortunately, there are also if you are not very clear preference for a particular model is best to make a choice.

The Autobloglezer in question is looking for a car in the c segment within the 14%-bijtellingscategorie. Preferably it will be a more luxurious car, the reader is, after all, an Audi A3 used to it and know any comfort or value of life. The criteria are as follows:

Current autoAudi A3

Sale/ leaseLease

Business/ priveZakelijk

Budget850 euros per month

Jaarkilometrage40.000 km

BrandstofvoorkeurDiesel, LPG may also

Reason for buying other autoContract expires

GezinssamenstellingMet z’n half, still no kinderplannen

Preferred brands/ modellenAudi, BMW, Volvo

No-go models/ merkenJapans, although Lexus also nice cars makes

These criteria indicate the reader:

Preferably something with 14%, because that this year is still possible. Plugin-hybrids are, unfortunately, difficult with my employer. I love premium cars, and can be a beautiful interior, such as in my current Audi, certainly appreciate.

If we make the list of contenders staking with the above requirements in mind, there are actually not so many about to choose from. 14% bijtellers in the C-segment, there are not so many, if the have a “premium” car should be the list only shorter. Nevertheless, there are some interesting options. The prices come from LeasePlan and are valid for a term of 48 months, on the basis of 40,000 km per year, and assuming that the salary of the (lease car drivers) in the highest%.

To start with, there is the Volvo V40 D2. The Swedes have a 2-liter four-cylinder diesel with 120 hp, packaged in a pretty attractive body. Perhaps a little less premium than the following possibilities, but the Volvo has a pretty private smoelwerk.

With a mileage of 40,000 km per year and a term of four years, it will cost at LeasePlan from 604 euros per month for a V40 D2 lease. This is the Swede so well within the budget. The cost for the private use come in at 157 euros per month.

The BMW 1-series also comes in picture to the more luxurious C-segmenters. Unfortunately the 1-series is not available with the 14% additional tax liability, but where are the prices for the types with 20% doing? A 118d may from 711 euros per month to take home, which is 106 euros more expensive than the cheapest 116d. The slightly smoother 120d costs just 67 euros per month extra and is 778 euros. These three options will fall in any case, well within the limit of € 850 per month.

Unfortunately, the private cost given the 20% additional tax liability, of course, a little bit higher. We go out of the 116d, the cost for private use is 240 euro per month. For the 118d is 282 euros and for the 120d even 330 euro. Rather strong differences.

Also Audi is enough fun to be found within the budget. A A3 2.0 TDI is already on lease from 675 euros per month. If you can’t wait to get it on the extra horsepower, the 1.6 TDI probably. An Audi A3 with that engine cost from 607 euros per month.

Once again, the 20% additional tax consequences for the costs for private use. The cheapest 1.6 TDI comes in at € 249 per month, the 2.0 TDI on 287 euro.

Outsider: it’s probably a little gray mouse as it is now, once a popular choice, but also a Golf TDI Bluemotion is worth considering. Unfortunately, the Wave no longer meet the stringent rules for the 14% additional tax liability, he does so just as the other two German options in the 20% category.

The cheapest version with the 1.6 TDI has a leasetarief from 551 euro per month, the cost for the private use amounts to € 234.

Conclusion: the V40 is in addition to approximately 100 euro per month cheaper. Or that advantage is indeed large enough to the more expensive, but also something more luxurious Germans to leave, you will have to weigh. Unfortunately, the choice in the C-segment in regards to 14%-bijtellers simply quite limited.
