Is the car-free Wooden the model of safety?

Under the smoke of Utrecht, on the A27, is Wooden, a town with a core in which you as a driver do not have. Result: almost no fatalities. Is this the way to major accidents eliminate?

Certain parts of your city for automobile traffic in Europe may not be entirely unique, for an average American, this must be a strange sight.
