So sexy that they are not even in America sold should be. This is a Porsche 993 Carrera RS.
The Porsche 911 is of the 993 generation is one of the most popular among lovers, and this was perhaps the best variant that Porsche has built. The 993 Carrera RS is a lightweight variant of the 993. No, he was not equipped with the enormous power that the GT2, for example, had but the thing had all the ingredients for the ultimate rijdersauto: a low weight, sporty tuning, and (unlike the GT2 with 450 turbo-horsepower) and a naturally breathable 3.8 flat-six with 300 often that is unhindered by any sound insulation your eardrums broken with ease while he all 300 horsepower to the rear wheels sends. All of the Carrera RS models of the 993 were equipped with a lowered chassis and three-piece 18 inch wheels.
This 993 Carrera RS is approximately 100 pounds lighter than a standard 911 thanks to the lack of rear seats, an aluminium boot lid and thinner side windows. In the rare Clubsport, the windows are not electric, there is no air conditioning built in, is standard with a roll cage fitted and is even the airbag out demolished. Also a mattensetje and headlamp washers, you had to lack in the Race but this resulted in a car which, despite the roll cage and huge rear wing is not heavier than the regular 993 RS. This 993 RS is equipped with a Clubsport spoiler but the lack of the specific front bumper betrayal that this is not a real Clubsport. Incidentally, the Clubsport spoiler just by Porsche as fabrieksoptie offered on the 993 RS.
This beautiful Indischrot copy was given for an even rarer GT2 by Jeffrey de Ruiter (you are forgiven) and was laid down in Adenau at the Nürburgring. Check all the photos on Autojunk.nl.
UPDATE: StijnB has the sharpest eye this morning. This is probably not a Carrera RS for the spoiler is that of a GT2, to recognize because it is a bit less high and a bit thicker sides. What 993 so here comes (the front bumper looks like that of a Carrera RS) we don’t know for sure.
UPDATE 2: The Swedish RDW says: a Carrera RS. But then so with the GT2 spoiler. Thanks evandaalen!
