With Fiat happens in the last few years, apart from some 500-variantjes, not so much. In the media, it is however, as always, plenty of speculation about the direction the group goes. The latest news: the Punto gets a shot in the neck and there are billions invested. Would uncle Serg sometimes a gold dust found under the head office?
The new Fiat strategy, which shortly after it’s fourth master plan for Alfa Romeo is finally up and running (the new Alfa’s coming now really hear, really), provides a focus on the 500 and the Panda, and is modeled on the Made in Italy principle. Quite so. The Punto, which the pre-faceliftmodel even with the crank handle supplied, will be thanked for his services and should wieberen.
The above is not taken from the official Fiat-channels, but comes from Bloomberg, it is usually not so very ill-informed megamedium that in this case (as always) is based on ‘insiders’. The factories in Italy to produce far below their capacity, and by the 500 and some Alfa’s upscale, production in the home country.
A timetable for the Punto is not given, but the Abarth variant will experience next year is his last year of life. The ‘normal’ Punto would be replaced by a five-door variant of the 500, that produced going to be in Poland, where currently also 500 messages (and Ford Ka) of the tape reels. Fiat goes full on MINI, you could say.
In addition to production in Poland, produces the Fiat group in Serbia, where the 500L of the band rolls. These jobs seem to be safe.
The question is how much this is related to the ability of Fiat to Chrysler to completely incorporate. The aforementioned gold dust would you, as a metaphor for the Chrysler group, because of its 9 billion euro turn you if verlieslijdend company not just from your pocket. Even if you are Sergio is hot, even though the opinions about this are divided.
An upscale Fiat, is that the same way that Opel has walked, or are there differences?
